7/5/10- Paula's Eating/Exercise Diary: Monday

by Paula (Clean Eating Expert) 5. July 2010 17:10

Well, I’m back from the honeymoon trip.  It is really great to get away for a bit of fun time with the one you love…and do nothing.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I worked out in the mornings, followed by brisk walks on the beach, so that I could eat what I wanted during the trip.  Hawaii was beautiful and the pineapple was amazing!

We had some amazing meals and I’m planning to make this amazing salad I had with watermelon, fresh crab, and feta, drizzled with truffle oil and balsamic vinegar and sprinkled with fleur de sol.  It was unbelievable.  We had a kitchenette and fridge in our room, so I made egg white omelets for breakfast, and stocked the fridge with yogurts and fresh fruits for snack.  It kept a handle on the food costs, and kept me from over doing it with breakfast bars!

We met some really nice people and just enjoyed being together.  Best of all, I married my best friend, and the love of my life.  Wish us well!

The fun begins when we return having moved 3 days before we left and blending our families.  It’s hard to unpack boxes with the kids off school and home with me full time, but when I look back at this time, I’m not going to say to myself…Gosh, I wish I’d unpacked sooner.  Summer fun is more important.  Glad to be back, and be patient if I fall behind at all.  Thanks.
