There has been a lot of buzz as of late, about the benefits of green tea to combat belly fat. Green tea is rich in immunity- boosting antioxidants and a proven metabolism booster. To aid in the absorption of these benefits to your body, add some lemon juice or any citrus juice. That juice increases the absorption up to 80% according to researchers @ Purdue University. My sister spoke to a nutritionist and that person recommended she stop drinking coffee in the a.m. (and she was a hard-core stiff coffee drinker!), and to switch to green tea. It’s too soon to see if her new plan will show results for her. I found a brand of low-calorie, green tea with lemon or raspberry or peach flavors added. I’ve been drinking 1 every morning when doing my cardio and weight training. Their tasty and low-calorie so, I’ll give it a try. Keep checking in and I’ll let you know.
