Since my husband is on maintenance and I'm 4 pounds away from this myself I've decided to use him as my guinea pig. I'm on the hunt for more interesting snacks that just 100 calorie packs. I've purchased Sans Sucre Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix. It's sugar-free and low-fat. The ingredients show that I'll need 1/3 cup of water and 2 tbsp. vegetable oil. Well, a serving size for 100 cal, 0g of fat is an 1/8 of the package. If I add iol that will add fat. I want to ask my consultant if this is OK or if I should use applesauce instead which will be zero fat. Now, Jenny Craig snacks do have as much as 5g of fat so I should be OK with using the vegetable oil. Aha! I just read the box more closely and if I add the oil it will be 3g for one serving size, not bad at all! I am going to make these tonight and taste a bite to see how they are. I'll let you know how it is in case you're looking for more creative ideas as well. I got it in the baking aisle with all of the sugar-free products.
So, far, the planned 1200 calories is working well. I'm back down to 129.4! Keep your fingers crossed the weight loss stays!
